Connect Linear, choose teams, and sync issues and comments into Layr.
Linear connects issue and comment history from teams you include so Layr can relate customer signal to what your team is shipping.
Who can connect Linear
Only Owner and Workspace admin roles can open Integrations and manage Linear.
Before you connect
- You need permission to authorize Linear OAuth for your Linear workspace.
- Know which Linear teams map to the product surface you are analyzing in Layr.
- Creating Linear issues from Layr is a separate intentional publish action, not part of the default read path.
Connect Linear
Open Integrations
In the Layr app, open Integrations from the workspace navigation.
Start OAuth
On the Linear card, select Connect and approve Layr in Linear.
Discover teams
Layr lists Linear teams visible to the authorized account. If the list is empty, confirm the Linear workspace has teams you can access, then Refresh sources.
Enable teams and confirm
Toggle on the teams Layr should read, then select Confirm and start first sync.
What gets synced
Included teams contribute issues and comments to Layr's evidence graph. Disabled teams are ignored even if Linear remains connected.
After the first sync
- Use Home to monitor freshness for Linear-backed sources.
- Admins can run sync again from the Linear card after large imports or permission changes.
- Webhooks keep included teams updated after the first confirmed sync.
Tips
- Match team selection to how your company splits product areas — avoid enabling teams unrelated to this workspace's product.
- If OAuth fails, verify you approved the correct Linear workspace and retry connect.
